Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Nancy is wildly popular with classroom teachers for her pragmatic approach to teaching written response to text.The morning session will focus on Constucting Meaning Through Kid-Friendly Comprehension Strategy Instruction. This session will demonstrate a simple format for explaining,modeling, and practicing thinking strategies leading students toward independence. The afternoon session will focus on Teaching All Students To Write High-Quality Answers To Open-Ended Comprehension Questions.Learn to use a simple system of explicit instructional supports to help all students write complete, well-elaborated responses to open-ended comprehension questions. Lunch not included in registration fee but is available in a wonderful "concession stand" type service.(Sandwiches,salads,pizza,fruit,drinks etc) For groups of three or more registering at the same time we offer a group rate of $165 per registrant.
